We often suffer not so much because of our problems as because of the ways we have learned to cope with them.

Psychotherapy is an opportunity to learn new ways of responding when old patterns are no longer working.

My name is Yana Yazovitska

I am a psychotherapist, hold a Master's degree in Psychology, am a certified Gestalt therapist and Dance Movement Therapist. I have been in private practice since 2013 and am the author of the book "Procrastination? There Is a Way Out!" Now live in Spain.

I work online in English, Ukrainian and Russian
with: adults (18–60) in individual therapy — 50-minute sessions;
couples — 80-minute sessions.

How I Work

I offer a calm, non-judgmental space where you can better understand yourself, become aware of your habitual patterns, and gradually develop new ways of responding that are more aligned with your needs and values.

The therapeutic relationship itself becomes a safe space to explore familiar patterns. What happens between client and therapist—trust, distance, expectations, disappointment, the wish to be understood, or the fear of rejection—becomes valuable material for therapy. Through this process, new ways of relating to yourself and to others begin to emerge.

When to Reach Out to Me

Anxiety and Emotional Exhaustion

Together we explore what your anxiety may be trying to tell you, what contributes to emotional exhaustion, and how you can begin to care for yourself in new ways.

Life Crises, Loss, and Adapting to Change

I gently accompany you through difficult emotions. Together we discover what helps you adapt to new circumstances and gradually rebuild your life with a renewed sense of stability and meaning.

Relationship Difficulties

Together we explore what gets in the way of building close relationships and find new ways of creating relationships based on trust, respect, and mutuality.

Procrastination

We explore the reasons why important things keep getting postponed.

Psychosomatic Symptoms

Together we explore the role your symptoms may play in your life and the important needs they may be expressing. We look for safer ways to meet those needs.

Self-Discovery and Identity

We explore questions such as: "What do I truly want?", "What really matters to me?", and "How can I make choices that feel true to who I am?"

Diplomas and Certificates

Master’s Degree in Practical Psychology

Confirms my professional education in psychology and qualifies me to provide psychological counseling as well as teach psychology.

Certificate in Gestalt Therapy

This certificate confirms that I am trained in the Gestalt approach—a psychotherapeutic method that helps people better understand and accept themselves, their emotions, needs, and reactions. It supports living in a way that is aligned with what truly matters to you.

Certificate in Dance/Movement Therapy

Sometimes what is difficult to express in words can be understood and processed through movement. Dance/Movement Therapy is a form of body-oriented psychotherapy that helps reduce emotional tension, restore connection with yourself and your needs, express emotions more freely, and develop healthier ways of coping with life's challenges when words are not enough.
No dance experience is required.

Certificate in Crisis Intervention for Couples and Families

This certificate confirms my qualifications in working with couples and families experiencing relationship difficulties. If your relationship is going through a crisis, I can help you understand the roots of recurring conflicts, hear each other more clearly, and find healthier ways of relating to one another.

Certificate in Gestalt Therapy for Addictions

This certificate confirms my training in working with addictive behaviors. It enables me to help clients understand the emotions, unmet needs, and life challenges underlying addiction, and to gradually develop healthier ways of meeting those needs.

This knowledge helps me identify situations that require referral to a psychiatrist, take clients' mental health needs into account, and provide safe, ethical, and professionally informed psychotherapy.
